At Chiles Peach Orchard

We had a Sunday afternoon excursion to Chiles Orchard and we all enjoyed a peach slushee...Violet in particular. The orchard is just a few miles from our house and they make all sorts of delicious things out of their produce.

Ladies in DC

Jason treated Laurel to a trip up to Washington DC on Saturday to see Katie (friend from middle school!) and Hope (friend from college). Violet was absolutely taken with Katie! It was pretty much a girls morning out, but Jason was a gracious male in the midst of all the estrogen. In the afternoon, we headed up to Silver Spring to see Sky. We spent some time in her apartment and then went shopping at Trader Joe's. (We await the day when a Trader Joe's will open in Charlottesville!)
